Thank you for taking the time to visit my webpage.  I hope that you find this site useful in getting to know about me and find resources that might be helpful to you as we work together to do great things for your son or daughter!

I have been a public educator since 2002 when I started my career in Dansville, New York as a high school social studies teacher.  Prior to this, I received by BA in History from SUNY Geneseo.  My time teaching was exciting and personally fulfilling as I pursued my passion for history and, more importantly, being a role-model for kids.  During this time, I was the History Club advisor, Mock Trial coach, and modified football coach. In 2004 I began my masters in School Leadership at Niagara University and received my School Administration and Supervision Certificate.  In 2006 I was hired as Assistant Principal at Dansville High School.  In 2008 I was hired as the Principal of Dansville High School, a position I held until my hiring at Pittsford. I am active with my local fire department and a proud parent of two.

My goal as Assistant Principal at CRMS is to support students, teachers, and parents in developing the whole child.  Often I see students who have made mistakes in class and were “sent to the office.”  Although assigning consequences are often a part of my job with students, I am first and foremost a teacher.  I always look to help students see the learning in the situation that has led them to my office.  I do this with compassion and a sense of the critical role our schools play in maintaining our great community and nation.   I thoroughly enjoy working with your children and partnering with parents in this important work.

Please do not hesitate to call me about your kids, they are important to me!
